There are several factors that will impact the cost of insulation for your project. Since no two projects are the same, we offer free in-home estimates so that we may get all the details necessary to complete your project quickly and efficiently. If you project is still in the planning stages we can provide an estimate from building plans. While we would love to be able to provide estimates here for project costs, it is nearly impossible to do because each project is different. Costs can vary widely as the thickness of foam needed to achieve the desired R value will vary. Spray foam insulation in general will be roughly triple the cost of fiberglass batts. While this rough estimate may seem staggering, the two products are nothing alike in terms of performance. While fiberglass batts will be less costly up front, you will end up spending much more than the cost of spray foam insulation in increased energy costs. Given that replacement or modification of in wall insulation is difficult and costly once drywall is installed, installing closed cell spray foam from the start is the best option. In short, do the job right the first time with closed cell spray foam.
